Kyle Torke loves writing almost as much as dogs and his delightful experience with both go far back into his childhood where he used to write love notes to his first pet, a beagle-mix named Brandy. He has published in every major genre (most recently a book of nonfiction, Tanning Season) and has taught writing and literature at the collegiate level for nearly twenty five years. He lives in Colorado with his family (wife Sarah and sons Conrad, Coover, and Hunter and two puppies, Nut and Bean) and encourages everyone to adopt from a rescue shelter and spay-neuter all pets!
